Princeton's Route 1 corridor keeps adding food. Wonder, the multi restaurant ordering platform, will open at MarketFair in the second half of 2027, the shopping center has announced.
Wonder works differently from a normal food hall. One kitchen turns out menus from several different restaurants and chefs at once, and you can mix and match dishes from all of them in a single order, for takeout, delivery or dining in.
Six menus are lined up for the MarketFair location, including Limesalt, Tejas Barbecue, Fred's Meat & Bread, Yasas by Michael Symon and Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson.
The company, founded by Marc Lore in 2018, already runs dozens of locations, 28 of them in New Jersey, built around celebrated chefs and award winning restaurants, with names like Bobby Flay and Di Fara Pizza elsewhere in the lineup.
MarketFair, at 3535 US Highway 1, has been on a food run: Eddie V's and Seasons 52 anchor the dining, sweetgreen opened there in September, and LaScala's Fire is also on the way, with Wonder now the biggest swing of the group.
No exact opening date has been set beyond the second half of 2027, and the final menu lineup can still shift before doors open.
