Your grocery run in Edgewater just got a lot better. KOKODAK, a Korean fried chicken concept, is now open inside the ShopRite at Edgewater Commons, 481 River
Road.
The counter sits near the supermarket's front entrance, so it works two ways: grab dinner on the way out, or make it the whole trip and do your shopping after.
The specialty is Korean fried chicken, crispy tenders and wings in a variety of flavors and sauces, including soy garlic and spicy options.
There is more than chicken. KOKODAK also runs an Asian hot bar with a rotating selection of prepared dishes, rice, vegetables and other Asian inspired favorites,
built for prepared meals and takeout.
Supermarket food is having a moment in New Jersey. Between sushi counters, hot bars and now a dedicated Korean fried chicken stand, the prepared food section is quietly becoming a food destination, and the Edgewater ShopRite just raised its hand.
